Chemical Capacity: Balanced using of Flasks

In current meta Flasks became permanent auras. You can use up to 5 very powerful unique flasks, with them, i.e. you can get 45% extra cold damage, 30% of leech, 30% of resistance penetration, chaos damage, +9% to max resistance etc. (with Pathfinder)

New mechanic introduces new resource: capacity. You have 100 capacity, and can extend it with pathfinder to 120 (because pathfinder created to get benefits from flasks, and 20% more looks balanced). Duration of Flasks extended, but each use of Flask adds something to capacity. Each second capacity decreases by 1, if you don't have required amount of capacity, you cannot use flask.

Examples of new Flasks:

Topaz Flask: 30 seconds of duration, +50% to lightning resistance, +6% to max lightning resistance, each use adds 40 to capacity.
Vessel of Vinktar: 20 seconds of duration, each use adds 90 to capacity.
Taste of Hate: 30 seconds of duration, each use adds 60 to capacity.

With this system you cannot have all of your flasks up permanently. But you can still manage using of them to get powerful buffs when you need them in fight.


Mutations: build diversity and reducing power of Ascendancy

With new system of mutations numerical values of all ascendancy classes will be reduced by 50%.

When you killing monsters in Act V and Act 10, you will get mutation power sources (stackable currency): Attack Mutation Source, Defense Mutation Source, Magic Mutation Source, Extended Mutation Source. You need to complete The Laboratory quest (one portal to complete, like The Labyrinth) to be able to combine this sources to Mutation and be able to Apply mutation to the character. After applying mutation gave permanent effect to character. Applying of Mutation requires 3 skill points each so you don't forced to use them to get full power of build (like Bandit choice).

All of mutations are available to all classes. Scion can have 6 mutations instead of 4.

Examples of Mutations:

Medium Magic Mutation of Prefixes: You spells of any source have 30% chance to chill enemies.
Big Extended Mutation of Leagues: Each kill in current instance gives 2% increased Damage. Each Hit in current instance taken gives 1% reduced Damage.

or... we could get negative mutation, the more we advance the more weakened our characters become. Some mutation lower our speed, lower our resistance, lower our dmg....

We could even get permanent curse such as, a shadow monster follow you and track you down. He appear every time you use a total of 500 flask charges (random number), it act as a count down. And then he mess you up and makes your life miserable.
