Sea server on steam? any news?

Im from PH. and i want to use my steam wallet on this game so badly :/ but right now i can't cos of region restriction.

We tried (with my wife since she's residing in hawaii right now) to download it there and open my account there but still impossible :/ seems like the only way is to wait for path of exile to open on steam for SEA server players :/

Any news on this? maybe this coming 3.0 patch?

Make your purchase directly through the PoE site, it isn't region restricted. If your account here is linked to your steam account then anything you buy through the site here will still be available to you in game, exactly as if you had bought the credits through Steam. I live in Cambodia so I do the same thing.

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but you can play on Singapore server through Steam. Afaik there is no difference between playing the game through Steam or playing it by itself.

and about the difference. there is. i want to use my steam funds to purchase MTX shop but i cant since i cant Download the game from steam...

yeah i am playing path of exile directly from the original launcher.

I don't understand the problem. Why do you want to buy MTX through Steam instead of via the website here?

i want to use my steam wallet that i have and i dont want to dish out some cash on my bank acc thats why. :)

and if ur thinking of just connecting my acc to steam and just log it in the site and buy it.

it doesnt do anything. you need to log in path of exile that you download tru steam that isnt region locked. thats what i learn as of earlier :/

You can download and play PoE in SEA through Steam. I've played from where I live in Cambodia, and also played from Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and Laos. I find it hard to believe it's "locked" in Philippines. Again, I don't think I understand your problem, sorry.

Yeah, i dont understand as well why GGG doesnt do anything about this. but trust me. it is still under region locked here in PH :)

Hopefully GGG will look at take care of this problem.
