Crafting - Colors of the sockets [DOUBT]

Hey, guys

I caught myself having a major doubt that will cost 120 chromatics in case I decide to do it without consulting you, so here I'm to ask you about this.

In the crafting colors of the sockets area, they have an option of "Adding at least 3 sockets of the same color by the exchange of 120 chromatic orbs".

I want to make a circlet with 4 dexterity sockets, so if I manage to get 1 green socket out of the 4 possible ones and use this "TOOL" of "Adding 3 sockets of the same color", will it count the green one I have added before the crafting proccess, making the circlet have only 3 green sockets instead of four, or will it be ignored, making the circlet get to 4 green sockets?

It will reroll all colors, with 3 guaranteed green sockets. The last one will be random (and since this is a circlet it has good chances to be blue), so you'll probably need multiple tries.

Use the "vorici calculator" (google) in order to know which option (vorici or chromatic spam) is the best for you

Yep. If it says "at least 3 green sockets" it will reroll the whole thing. And you will mostlikely end up with 3 green, 1 blue.

Rolling 4 off-coloured sockets onto an item is almost impossible. Don´t even try it. I once forgot my helm had 3 (!) off color sockets (int based, had 2 red, one green) and I wasted over 400 chromatics to get it back after I rolled it to 4x blue - just for trying a funny build.
Better go with a dex based helm and try to get your ES / INT from other stats.

Make sure you absolutely NEED that circlet. Going with a int/dex helm (a mask typically) would give you a much better chance of getting your 4G roll.

I'd say that easiest way to get a "guaranteed" 4-off is to use Vorici's 3-off option and then use a Vaal orb for a white socket. :P
