Prophecies and Corrupted items
If I have a Death's Harp with "adds an additional arrow" from a corruption and I use the prophecy to upgrade it to a Death's Opus, will it still have the same corruption or will it basically reroll the new item?

That's exactly what i was wondering but with another item and prophecy. I do however fear that this being such an rng based game it 1: wont work because it's corrupted or 2: give it another corruption and screw up the stats.

Why don't you try with a different, worthless, item. Costs you 1 alch for unfated unique, 1 alch for prophecy and 1 vaal for corruption.
If I were to hazard a guess, from my experience mods don't get rerolled, just added. No idea though if corrupted items can be fated at all. As I said, why not do an experiment and tell us. |

Bit late to this thread but I tried this last night on a corrupted Kaltenhalt with "3% of Damage Taken Gained as Mana When Hit". I was hoping to upgrade it to Kaltensoul by fulfilling the Snuffed Flame prophecy (defeat Chatters while wearing Kaltenhalt). Long story short: it doesn't work, you can't use a prophecy on a corrupted item.
Corrupted item can be modified by Vorici's crafting bench, Zana's map mods and Lead-To-Gold darkshrines. I think it would be awesome if we modify them with a Prophecy too. PS: For science, I vaaled the Kaltensoul and bricked it into a crummy rare. My signature: https://www.pathofexile.com/my-account/preferences
