Couldn't find anything about it, but this crazy shield would grant minions 3% max res and perma onslaught, right?

No, their normal charge cap is 3, the shield would just reduce it to 2 and give them either reses or onslaught, depending if they can gain charges or not.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
