Is blade vortex physical damage?

Has blade vortex been changed in 2.6 in terms of how the damage works?
Passives with +%physical damage does not seem to effect the damage of blade vortex. I'm pretty sure it did in the past, and it says in the wikis that it does physical damage.. so i'm slightly confused :) http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Blade_Vortex Last bumped on Mar 14, 2017, 11:06:06 PM

BV does indeed deal physical damage, but as mentioned it's a spell not an attack. Some nodes are worded as "increased physical damage" whereas others are worded as "increased physical attack damage", the former will scale up BV whereas the later won't.
