How to open Filtration or edit loot filter??

Hello, i recently downloaded Filtration in hopes that i could adjust Neversink's loot filter, strict specifically. I would like to add white agate amulets to be shown. However i cannot find a way to open Filtration or any information online regarding how to actually edit a loot filter.

So, there's two parts to your post;


FILTRATION

I've never personally used Filtration, so I was in the dark as much as you were. I went to its Github page here and clicked on the Read Me for more information. It didn't precisely answer your question, so I chose to download filtration_0.15_setup.exe, and when that was finished downloading, I double-clicked on it and used the installation wizard.

When Filtration was installed I went to its folder and double-clicked on Filtration.exe. It asked me to browse to the Path of Exile data folder, which I did. It's in /Documents/My Games/ and the folder should be called Path of Exile. The program then opened successfully.

To create your own loot filter from scratch, it seems you click on File and then New Script. As you want to alter Neversink's loot filter, you should click on File and Open Script. It will then you show the loot filter(s) you have installed so that you can select one to open and edit.

LOOT FILTERS

You asked how to edit a loot filter. Despite having the .filter extension, they're just basic text files so you can use whichever program you use for text file normally. A lot of people use Notepad. I'm personally fond of Notepad++. Maybe you prefer something else. To each their own! :)
