100% Physical to Fire conversion possible now?

Hello all

I want to make bladefall/SWT with full fire-conversion to burn some nasty mobs.

With recent patches, it sounds like full 100% conversion without blackgleam/signalfire and a bow.

I want to play with more fast-moving skills like whirling blades, and not use a bow.

Any God-O-Knowledge of PoE can help me how to convert physical damage to 100% full fire damage without using blackgleam?

And Yes, ofc gonna use AoF

With proper attack and projectile speed, Blink Arrow can be ridiculously fast. It's only hindered by it's cooldown, but coupled with movement speed, you can actually zoom past most other players easily.

The only way I can think of to convert Phys to Fire fully now are:

1. Use the Goddess Scorned
2. Ngamahu's Flame + Avatar of Fire (but this will prevent you from using WB)

Both of which aren't ideal for BF/SWT.

Pyre + Cold to Fire hits 90%. Depends what you're converting of course.

edit: I've got ninja'd and my stuff can't beat "1 ring and 1 gem and you're 90% fire" for sure

There is cluster "Winter Spirit" pretty near Shadows start, its supposed to convert 40% of phys damage to cold, and 50% of remain 60% you can conv with PtL support, then mayby you can use Brothood ring and Cold to Fire support and get some fire damage.


I never tried this, I have no idaea if it works at all, tho.

Another way might be just Added Fire, Hatred, Cold to fire and http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Dyadian_Dawn

only (if it'll work at all) that's not full convertion, but cuting off what wasn't converted. Plus all (very few) nice things on this belt work only with attacks. No physical seems to be generic mod, tho.

That makes me think, if someone scaled Spell damage only with generic spell increase and crit chance/multi and cast speed- such char should be able to swap spells ele/phys without any issues.
I have no idea how phys spell part of that plan works, but elemental (namely freezing pulse) do just fine.

Lightning Warp+ Rapid Decay+ Less Duration is pretty awesome mobility skill (and pretty poor w/o these 2 supports).

phys to lightning gem + cold to fire gem + 2x call of the brotherhood + avatar of fire.

winters spirit nodes + hrimsorrow/burn + cold to fire + avatar of fire.


I feel like that should be it too, tired this morning, someone with a brain confirm or correct if possible.

honestly since you wanna run spells, you can easily roll signal fire and Xoph's INCEPTION. with avatar of fire this gives you 100% conversion, and +55% of physical damage gained as extra fire damage with the bow and quiver. that is pretty damn amazing.

i actually did that very thing for a blade vortex build (minus the avatar of fire) and the damage was actually higher than dual wielding spell daggers, all because of the extra fire dmg

so it seems like the best way would be using signalfire with a bow which it breaks my heart of loving WB, but well if it is the easiest way to make my BF/SWT a hot potato, so be it...

actually I was wrong, Hrimsorrow are now 50% phys to cold now apparently.

So all you need are Hrimsorrow, Cold to Fire and Avatar of Fire, that should be 100% conversion.

Hrimsorrow leave you with 50% phys, avatar of fire takes care of that.

Cold to Fire leaves you with 50% cold, avatar takes care of that.

100% phys to fire with the gloves and the gem alone.

I tried the cauterizer with shockwave totems against xophs bow and blood amulet. Although the cauterizer has a +1 to strength gems and 20% MORE physical gained as fire, it actually does LESS than xophs bow+amulet+signalflare quiver. My guess is that the elemental focus gem + elemental overload scale much better when everything is fire.
