What gems work with Cast on Melee Kill?

Hello.

This game is super fun but so hard to understand at first, seems to be a lot of ingame info missing which is frustrating.

Now, I have found this support gem, Cast on Melee Kill.
It suggest that it trigger spells and I have tried about 40 different gems without effect..

I figure just a few gems were "trigger" gems but poe wiki list none and there is no website that I found listing them.
I found a few very old builds and whatnot but those gems doesnt work either.
Guess I just wanted to vent the frustration of nothing working as a new player might assume at first glanse.

So help me out..can you name a few gems that work with this support gem
and if there is any caveats or so involved.

"Cast on Melee Kill is a support gem. It causes linked spells to trigger when the player kills an enemy with the melee attack portion of a supported melee skill."

Just look at tags: Support, Melee, Attack, Spell, Trigger

Means you can trigger any Spells with it.

Yes I got that but WHICH spells can I trigger, that is what I want to know.
As I said, I have tried a bus load and none work.

just link a melee skill with cast on melee kill then a spell u want to cast when u kill a mod then suporter gems to buff the spell and or melee skill

Just by a chance - do you link this trigger with your main melee skill? It is not a global thing..

Melee gem -> Cast on Melee Kill -> Any spell -> etc..

u can use all spells... ice nova, fire storm, fire ball etc

Oh, you're saying that I need to have a melee first.
So double strike - cast on melee kill - ice nova?
