Best supports for Ball Lightning?

Hey exiled mates

I'm pondering what supports will be best for Ball Lightning which deals 50% damage as cold and 50% as lightning.Also I allocated all Witch and Templar passives for increased AoE.I've drafted such one:
BL + Spell Echo + Increased AoE + Slower Projectiles/Hypothermia + Lightning Penetration + Cold Penetration.
supported by double curse - Projectile Weakness + Elemental Weakness.

But maybe I missed something,and there is something better?

The Cold and Lightning Pen are a waste. They lose effectiveness due to your converted Damage, and you just sacrificed 2 sockets.

Controlled Destruction is a good option here.
Elemental Focus is also fine if you don't care about Shock/Freeze or you have another way to apply them.
LMP/GMP can help for clear speed.
Swap out Inc AOE for Concentrated Effect when bossing.

If you're crit based, Inc. Critical Strike Chance is also fine.

Faster Casting is also OK.
Life Leech if you need it.
In my experience AoE can be better than multiproj.. conc effect has no effect other than reducing the hit range because ball lightning does not deal AoE damage. Is there any special reason to convert damage to cold? You could use Lighting penetration.. if you are crit and waht to shock/freeze, use crit supports

Huh. Didnt know that about Conc Eff + Ball Lightning. Oh wells.

He's probably using a Call of the Brotherhood build.
Just a thought, could be good, could be awful.

Elemental Equilibrium. Flame Totem + Faster Projectiles + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Faster Casting.

Alternative thought. This one is more likely to be "optimal."

Drop Call of the Brotherhood. Use The Three Dragons.

Bonus thought.

Cospri's Will makes Elemental Weakness more reliable.

You guessed right,I indeeed have CotB ring.Reason I'm using it - extra safety from chilling and freezing enemies.
Hmmmm....if I put instead penetrations Increased Critical Strikes + Controlled Destruction wouldn't it lower total crit chance too much?
Cont. Destruction only lowers your crit by the spell's base crit chance, which for Ball Lightning is 5%. In return, you get 25-44% MORE Spell Damage, which is very worth it imo.

Ball Lightning - Spell Echo - Slower Proj - Cont. Des - Inc Crit Strikes

Should be the main 5 Links if you're crit based.
Here is a totally different way to look at it:

Trap-Cluster Trap-Lightning Pen-Increased lightning damage-Slower projectiles.

Throw those in a Sire of Shards and watch rooms full of mobs disappear.

Knockback support is the best. Believe me. You will end up with only your character visible on the screen :D
