Does Shield Charge require a certain type of *weapon*?

It requires a melee weapon probably? Wand is the only one-handed ranged weapon.

Do you have any particular reason to use a wand? That's the flame surge build, right? Use a sceptre instead, they have elemental damage as implicit.

Yeah but now I can't afford any good Sceptre.

I was using this wand because it's just a really sick wand. I hadn't really considered Shield Charge at the time, nor was I aware it would restrict me.

But it's a decent option, I think, cuz then I can also throw Fortify on it.

Buuuut yeah... I have 10c, and that's not enough to afford a decent one. I'll have to see what I can liquidate.

Just sold my left nut for a decent sceptre. Time to use Shield Charge!

Should be a slight DPS downgrade, but Fortify should be very useful, eh?

Protip: That sceptre has a legacy implicit. Use a blessed orb on it and it should upgrade to 24%.
