Weapons skins and related 'bugs'

Couple of day ago I have bought some more 'visuals' for a newest toon of mine
THe character is a 2h maul wielder , so i looked up some 2h weapon skins, and took the one i liked most 'the radiant sword' and 'radiant weapon effect' But when i applied the skin I noticed that it makes a 'dumb' copy of the model, over the existing one, completely breaks the animation and the looks. I started to experiment with the rest of my toons, and naturally found out that you can not really use the sword skins for either mauls or 2h axes. Hence the question in two parts 1. Is it possible to tie the animations to the ACTUAL model used currently and not to the weapon class? 2. If it's not possible for, I don't know, indeep game engine reasons, could you state it in the description of the item (i'm referring to the mod item) or even make it to be impossible to use with a wrong item type? First one is a 'proper' look. Works with axes-mauls interchangeably ![]() Here what happens when you use a sword skin for an axe ![]() Mace -> sword on scion ![]() This one is worst - a mace -> sword on duelist. Yeah it's quite riddiculous that GGG is charging money for MTXs that are looking awful, and this is actually an pretty old issue, though nothing happended till now.
