wither or contagion applied as an aura on a unique?

this is something i would like to see in the future.
ofcourse theres the lazy aspect of going down from 2 button presses and a totem to only 1-2...
but the main idea i had in mind was that you would be able to run around with contagion and melt down enemies similarly to how the belt (can't remember it's name) deals chaos damage over time.

the main stats of said uniques would ofcourse be:
adds level x contagion/wither <- thos can be supported by socketed support gems or gain 3 times the damage from any increased or more multipliers you get.

you would probably end up having another 15-30% increased chaos/damage over time on the item.

additionally to these there might be a stat that compliments the level x skill with an additional 1% increased chaos damage of socketed skills(including contagion) per character level

as you are technically generating chaos automatically around your character like an aura, things like AoE will have an impact.
chaos resistance will also be a factor as it only seems logical.

as we have seen several hp and energy shield builds out there i'm thinking that the item might be a energy shield base that also provides you with added hp or if the item is not a glove, boot so on so forth, the item might provide both life and energy shield as their main stats.

some special stats the item(s) might have would be increased area of effect, movement speed, duration.
note that by duration and movement speed i mean that if the item applies to effects permanently while you are near enemies it might also either get removed OR remain on the targets for the base contagion duration where movement speed and duration could both compliment to the clear speed and theme of it...


i feel that if there would be a solid concept for an item that can apply contagion or wither, i can already see it ingame in the future.
it would stand side by side with the belt i don't know the name of.

a good higher level swap maybe? (the belt and this item may channcel eachother out)
