I've been playing forever and it's always been 1 chaos every time. I finally decided to try to make a strength only char and suddenly the price is insane, 3+ exalts?
Is this due to price gouging? Will the price eventually go back to 1 chaos? I always make my builds around shitty cheap uniques and they never work very well since they are well.... 1 chaos uniques. Is there some build out now that I am unaware of that uses this barely passable unique? Even with stacking 1k+ strength its still only about as good as a well rolled wand. I don't know where you're looking that it's three Exalts - poe.trade says 1ex at top-end, and that's Hardcore Breach meaning there's literally only three and one with a stupid insane price.

First off: The league is not even a week old. EVERYTHING is crazy expensive at the start of the league, due to a mismatch between supply and demand.
Secondly: Iron will builds are pretty damn good at the start of a league since they don't really need much. They're kinda popular, making their BiS weapon a bit more expensive. Considering he fact that hybrid might actually be a thing now, maybe some people wanna use it for the huge strength boost for geofri's sanctuary and later also shaper's touch. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.
