bronn's lithe lightning warper build guide/ build discussion

My own char playing this build is only level 70 now and I will stop playing it once breach league starts. So I can't tell you how it does against the Shaper or other end game content. To compensate I will explain how the build came about and why I did things the way I did. There are also various questions and room for improvement.

The initial idea was to create a build around the Bronn's Lithe unique.

That is I want a build that gets its main damage from a movement skill. To get any real benefit fro the +2 gem level this skill needs to be spell. So it's going to be a lightning warp build. Lightning warp is one of the most mana hungry skills in the game, so the other key piece is the trickster ascendancy which gives 'movement skills cost no mana'. This means we can reserve all our mana for useful auras with no need for a clarity and no mana or mana regen nodes on the tree.
As our chest piece gives pure evasion, using CI seems hard to pull off, so we will go live based with eva+ dodge. The AOE of lightning warp is quite small, so I went for the two increased AOE clusters in the passive tree, one in the witch starting area, the other next to the templar start. So we have three points in the passive tree we need to get to, otherwise I just picked whatever life or lightning damage or cast speed nodes where on the way.
The key unique is of course Bronn's Lithe. The other very useful unique for this build is the singularity sceptre
.
It's so good for this build that we will use two of them. Both of these are dirt cheap, usually 1c.
Everything else can be filled with rares. I currently use

because of the extra 10% movespeed. Atziri's Step boots would also work well for the extra spell dodge.
The most expensive part of the build is coloring Bronn's Lithe. It's a pure evasion based piece with high dex requirement, so rolling anything non green is difficult.
Useful gems by color:
Blue: Lightning Warp, Lightning Penetration, Controlled Destruction, Faster Casting
Red: Less Duration, Empower, Life Leech
Green: Rapid Decay, Culling Strike
Less Duration is crucial. Rapid Decay seems nice, but with high levels on the other gems Lightning warp is fast enough without it and we don't benefit from the DoT. Culling strike shortens boss fights by 10% and gives a few % increased damage, nothing too exciting either.
So pay Vorici for at least 3 blues and hope for at least 1 red. The most likely outcome is BBBRGG (around 650 chromes if you use 3 blue Vorici), so you will have to skip one of the 3 blue gems. Which one depends on circumstances. This would also happen with a 5l as long as the unlinked socket is green.
I was hoping for BBBBRG which cost 3000 chromes on average and then accidentally got 6 off colors BBBBRR which costs around 50.000 chromes on average. Don't try this at home kids :-)
I'm currently using life leech, which seems to work quite well. A level 4 Empower would probably work well but the level 2 one I have doesn't seem worthwhile.
Auras I currently use Grace, Blasphemy with Conductivity and Herald of Thunder. HoT is great for killing of left over mobs, I does a decent amount of damage with our passive tree. Getting a slightly higher shock chance on the lightning warp to trigger it more often would be nice. This could come from the big lightning damage cluster north of the witch. With the 14% reduced mana reservation, this uses my mana quite efficiently. Using Artic Armor on top would be nice, but unfortunately taking the reduced mana reservation cluster south of shadow start for another 12% is not quite enough, this would reserve 101% of mana. Using Alpha's Howl would work, but I'm not sure whether the total investment is worthwhile.
I use a lightning golem for some more cast speed. It keeps dying and it's very annoying to recast because I need to uncast and then recast an aura to get the required mana. Minion Life and Minion Ele Res help a little. I also tried Life Leech but the golem doesn't do enough damage to get anything useful from it. Any other ideas to give it some life regen?
Vaal Grace with increased duration is very helpful for survival.
Cast when Damage Taken + Immortal Call works, but without a source of endurance charges the half second of protection doesn't do much.
Reckoning + Life gain on Hit works as well, but again, with 11% block chance it doesn't do much.
Cast when Stunned + ??? could also work.
So I still have a whole bunch of gems slots available and nothing useful to put there.

Currently this build does well in low level maps. DPS is quite good since I equipped the two singularity scepters. IIRC it is around 4k per cast with a cast time of 0.35 seconds. I wouldn't recommend this for leveling. I started using lightning warp at level 42 or so with a tabula. In spite of the 6link damage output was fairly miserable. Defenses are soso. I have a little under 4k life with rubbish gear. Most monsters seem to have trouble targeting you due to the constant warping around. But you do have to go in at close range, so when you get hit you are in trouble with dodge+eva defense.

Any tips and comments appreciated.
