16% increased attack and cast speed if you killed recently ENCHANTMENT and WARCHIEF TOTEM

Hello,

Somebody can tell me if this enchantment works with warchief totem (ancestral bond node active..) ?
When i check my stats, with these boots, my attack speed with warchief is 3.19 after killing an ennemy

and .. when i switch with other boots my attack speed is the same 3.19 ..

do this enchantment works only if i kill ennemies by myself ?

Hover your cursor or have char tab open when you check it, it's just some fraud enchant, I have it myself and I had to spam it with cursor over skill (namely arc) to see a difference, And it was gone right away. I don't feel like it's 4 sec boost duration at all. Anyway, if other "cast speeds" work im pretty sure this one does too.

Mayby that "recently" wans't suppose to last 4sec to begin with, tho, but 1 sec? I;m not sure here rly. All I know it's, making better impression at first but is bit dissapointing later on.

This won't work because you are not killing. However you will have 100% uptime on if you haven't killed recently enchants. The whole "you" interaction for crits and kills is kind of a bizarre ruleset in regards to traps/totems.

For instance you can have the you deal no damage ancestral bond and still deal damage using traps. So you'd assume that traps fall outside of the whole "you" paradigm and are a seperate entity; but then if you spec into resolute techique or elemental overload you'll see that trap crits are not restricted by the new "you" keystone.

"You" are not killing anything; your Warchiefs are. Ergo, you get no attack speed from those boots. You, yourself, have to do the murdering for "if you've killed recently" buffs to work.

Hmm, no one mentioned the bug yet. If a DoT kills the enemy, you get the kill credit no matter what. So even if you never hit an enemy, if your Warchief inflicts an Ignite or Bleeding or Poison and that ends up killing the enemy, then you get the kill credit.

This is not working as intended. However, it's been in the game for a long, long time, making it seem like a pretty stubborn bug to fix. So you might be able to make use of it for a while.

For rules as intended though, this boot enchant is useless for Warchief-focused builds :)

There nothing odd there, traps are not you, but they do use your offensive stats
