Choppy graphics/screen tearing?

Hey ive been getting really choppy graphics when i walk/move fast and what looks to be screen tearing.
I tried the 64bit and 32bit client, disabling and renabling vsync but that doesnt seem to solve the problem.
I never had these problems on the previous patch.

Provided a video but its hard to visually see since the quality isnt great and its not 144 fps

Should also add i run the game at 2560x1440, everything set to high,16x filtering, post processing off,
windowed fullscreen and i have tested fullscreen on 32 bit.
Changing the settings to low still produces the same choppy graphics when moving fast.

Pc specs:
CPU: i7 6700k @ 4.6ghz
GPU: gtx 1080
ram: 16gb ddr4 3000mhz
ssd
Windows 10

Have you tried testing this at 1920x1080? Could you post your DxDiag report and confirm whether you have Vertical Sync as "On" on your NVIDIA control panel?
I fixed the issue. Path of exile wasnt running with gsync on (and maybe vsync too since my 32 client stayed at 350-400fps).

For some reason it only kicks in after you turn it off and on again in the nvidia control panel once the game is booted.

The vysnc button seems to have no effect in game.

This might be an issue related to the latest nvidia drivers 375.96 or the latest poe client

This might be an issue related to the latest nvidia drivers 375.96 since im pretty certain i didnt have tearing issues when the patch was first released

had the same issues. Happened specially in act 3 town for me.

Fixed with the method proposed by YoshiXt: switched off then on the vsync from the nvidia control panel.
