*Most of this idea is based on another games clan system that has since shutdown after about 10 years of being an online p2p game with 2 different versions *I may have forgot something or will add something and will likely edit this more then once *There is another part to this i didnt add that is about a catacomb dungeon that let your guild fight other guild npcs to try to steal their jewels but since GGG likely wont use any of our ideas anyways didnt feel like typing it up lol Since i see guilds as sort of useless other then a friend list (that we already have) maybe guilds could be updated and be more apart of the game New Item: Guild Jewel New NPC: Guild Master In all hideouts that allows you to buy traps/other items to protect your hideout COULD sell a Guild Jewel for an EX but not sure if he should just an idea to test New Chat Channel: Guild Chat; /guild 1 Used for looking for guild or guild talk etc New Area(s): Guild Hideout: See Guild Hideout section War Areas: See War Areas section Guild Hideout: The waypoint all the way right is the players hideout that when clicked pops up 2 waypoints if your in a guild Player Waypoint; takes you to your hideout Guild Waypoint; takes you to guild hideout 15 other Guild Hideouts are on the map but greyed out (or like waypoints with no teleport) Once your allied or at war the they will be normal waypoints to said guilds your aillied/at war with Allied: Green War: Red Normal: Blue (like now) (also matches gem theme colors!) All Guild Hideouts hold a Guild Master NPC All Guild Hideouts are like player hideouts but allow a few new things to happen Guild Hideout Features: Guild Hideout is 4 times as big as player hideout Guild Hideout features things sold by the guild master like traps or hidden doors that only damage players who your guild is at war with War Areas: War Areas are where guild members go to gain Guild Jewels to keep your guild alive and running These areas are like normal waypoints but instead go to an area that is like a boss room just bigger (so it can hold more players at once) these rooms are limited in who can enter them by level and have random traps in them (GGG can make the areas however they see fit) (reusing lab traps GGG may like this) In one place in this room is a Shrine type of thing that at XXX time spawns a Guild Jewel on top of it (so you know its spawned) it could be anything GGG wants but for now ill use an orb looking thing that is blue and lights up To get this orb from the stand one must simply touch it like a Shrine but to do this no other player (allied and guild members dont count) must be by (within x distince from the Shrine) it or you cannot get it If you get the Guild Jewel your guild gains 1 Guild Jewel A message in a Guild chat and a the new Public Guild chat will pop up saying XXX gained a Guild Jewel for YYY clan. (XXX player name; YYY guild name) Once you get the Guild Jewel a timer will start again for a countdown till the next time it will spawn one All Guild Jewel stands have different spawn times based on whatever GGG wants them to be Each Areas has a level limit just like the level in each area now If you are over this level you may not enter this Guild Area Now the levels could be anything GGG wants them to be and each area has a waypoint on the guild map that is linked like normal to higher areas (in the picture the normal areas would be waypoints to Guild Areas) But just to give an idea of levels Low: 5, 15, 18, 20, 24, 28, 30, 34, 36, 38 Mid: 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52, 60 High: 64, 68, 76, 84, 92, 100 Guild Hideout/Areas mockup (im no artist :D) http://imgur.com/a/BVi5U Guild Relations: 1: Alliance 2: Neutral; Starting point of all Guilds 3: War Rank 2+ can set these and the other Guild must confirm them Once set cannot reset again till the next reset Alliance: Both guild leaders must agree on this setting; Both clans work as a team in guild wars Chat from other Guilds in this mode is seen by members of all allied guilds Neutral: default setting War: Both guild leaders must agree on this setting; While at war other guilds my invade your Guild Hideout and kill other players They May also steal Guild Jewels from your Guild Hideout! Allied guilds from both are allowed to raid your Guild Hideout as well but may not steal Guild Jewels (can still kill players) You can only be allied/war with 15 guilds at a time Stealing Hideout Jewels: In each Guild Hideout is a Shrine that allows players of guilds your at war with to steal Guild Jewel from your Shrine just like a Guild Areas Shrine but this is limited to XXX (whatever GGG sees fit each day) When a guild at war player enters your Guilds Hideout it will tell chat so you can try to stop them from stealing or killing other guild members Keeping a guild running: To keep a guild running your guild must have more then 0 Guild Jewels in its holdings If your guild has 0 Guild Jewels come xxx time (most likely whatever time masters reset) the guild is deleted and all stash items are returned to the owner in the form of remove only tabs When you login if this happens it will say your guild has been deleted and all items returned (same when your on) Ranks for Guilds: Allows the leaders to set 4 guild ranks that have certin rights to things for the guild Leader: can do all rank 4-1 can do (only this rank is allowed to delete the guild) Rank 1: Can do all rank 4-2 can do; Can set guild welcome message; Can remove other people from guild; Can set guild bonuses Rank 2: Can do all rank 4-3 can do; Can set Guild Relations Rank 3: Can do all rank 4 can do; Can let other people join the guild Rank 4: All new guild members are set to this rank when they join; Can remove and put own items in guild stash; Can gain Guild jewels Guild Bonuses: Guild Warrior: Max Level: 30 +1% str/dex/int per point in Guild Areas Guild Runner: Max Level: 30 +1% movement speed per point in Guild Areas Guild Treasure: Max Level: 30 +1% Increased Item Rareity, 0.5% Increased Item Quantity Guild Learner: Max Level: 10 1% Increased Exp, lose 1% less Exp when you die Each Point raises the guilds rent by the level of the skill All guilds will be set to xx Guild Jewels if this goes live (whatever GGG sees fit most likely 0 or 1) Guild Ladders New section on the site for guilds Lists all players in guild with ranks If your logged in to pathofexile.com and the leader (or in the guild your viewing) you may see other stats about your guild (like number of Guild Jewels or who joined or left) B on the event menu can show all guild spawn times in a new guild tab Last edited by Lynerus#6363 on Oct 11, 2019, 10:14:35 AM Last bumped on Nov 14, 2016, 10:45:40 PM

Most likely will have to use whatever system is already in place for PVP since damage will be out of control in these areas

Not sure if i should type up the other part of the guilds or not... but there is another part that has players vs npcs in a dungeon trying to steal Guild Jewels |

I think you are a bit hopeful considering they haven't even managed to implement a last logged in date for guilds yet.
Of course we know why this is. But how many guild slots do you think people will buy GGG before they get sick of your underhanded sales tactics? 100 500? Guild im in is already up to about 130 and its impossible to know who is active and who isn't. |

" I kinda agree and thats mostly what guilds would be for (or should be) clan fights was fun on the other game that had these systems and i never really like pvp myself but it was fun after you had a build and didnt die to everyone for once Also team fights and spamming potions to stay on the shrine lol |

Make guilds be able to PK people in games which they have wars with and take their expirience and we are gucci, would be so good game actually lol!
