Maximum IIQ/IIR/packsize of maps and your craziest maps

So, I got hold of this map today (I did not make it myself, I bought it cause it looks so awesome and has the potential of being real fun):

Not quite sure what I will do with it yet, whether I add Beyond or whether I instead try to proc Monstrous Treasure or so. I guess I will add some sextants first and then decide.

However, this got me wondering: What is the highest IIQ/IIR and pack size a (red) map can get?

Assuming there are no restrictions to things spawning together (I actually did not know that you can get quad-cursed btw), the highest pack size is rather easy to determine, because pack size only comes from suffixes (max 4 suffixes for a corrupted map):

of Exposure (16%)
of Smothering (15%)
of Vulnerability / Temp Chains / Enfeeblement / Elemental weakness (all give 14%, 2x14% = 28%)

Which adds up to 59%, meaning my map is actually pretty close.

As for IIQ, we have to consider both pre- and suffixes:

Fleet (20%)
Savage (18%)
Unwavering (18%)
one of Hexproof / Mirrored / Punishing / Capricious (all 16%)
of Congealment (25%)
of Stasis (20%)
of Smothering (20%)
of Deadliness (or one of the other 18% mods)

which adds up to 155%, 175% with 20% Quality. My map is quite a bit away from that. With 3 Mortal fragments, you can push this to 205%, and another 20% with Zana mods (for a total of 225%). Personally, I have never played a >200% map, but gotten quite close (180% or so). Not sure if the Shaper or Pale Court fragments give more than 10% IIQ?

As for IIR, which is not that interesting to most people, the maximum seems to be 82%. You cannot max IIQ, IIR and pack size simultaneously.

As for the highest EIIQ (effective IIQ defined as (1+pack size)*(1+IIQ)-1), the best I can come up with is:

Fleet (20% IIQ / 0% pack size)
Savage (18% / 0%)
Unwavering (18% / 0%)
Hexproof (16% / 0%)
of Exposure (18% / 16%)
of Smothering (20% / 15%)
of Enfeeblement (18% / 14%)
of Vulnerability (18% / 14%)

For a total of 146% IIQ / 59% pack size (166% / 196% / 216% IIQ with quality / frags / Zana mod). This translates to

EIIQ = (1+59%)*(1+216%)-1 = (1+0.59)*(1+2.16)-1 = 5.0244-1 = 402.44% EIIQ

Meaning that you will find pretty much exactly 5 times as much items in that map than in a clean, white map with no Zana bonus.

The highest a unique map can go is supposedly 400% (Olmec's Sanctum), but on poe.trade the highest I can find is 216%, so I doubt the Wiki is correct there. The highest IIQ I can find for a non-legacy rare map is 160% (15% off theoretical max), the highest pack size is indeed 59% (there are several like that on the market, one even with 154% IIQ).

Did I forget anything? Besides the fact that at some point crafting Shrines or Strongboxes (500% IIQ strongbox monster Sextant!) on a map might be more profitable? Sextant mods? What are the craziest / highest EIIQ maps you have run so far?

Map drops, map drops never change.
I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

Beat you by 1 ;-)

Haven't run it yet, double reflect with ele weekness ( and TC on top)? Dunno if I'll be able to, but who cares? it's standard...

I remember this map, saw it yesterday in global :)
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

Had a few nice ones this league:

Nice IIQ/ PS

This one had a low PS, but was insanely hard...

I had this UN-IDed map in Prophecy league. Non-corrupted T3 with 25% pack size and 123% quantity. Pretty hard to get better on a six-affix low-tier map I think

Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Slightly OT, but yesterday i got my first "real" xp-losses on Essence_SC.

I have completed 90+% Atlas and was focusing on buying missing maps and Vaaling them.

Found myself agains't a Twinned/hasted Rigwald's with temp. chains/no regen on me :(

I might have done that without "deaths" but i had no idea about the bleed and second "death" was me trying if Slayer's leech-nodes would prevent that, nope :)

After i learned that i just cannot get hit at all, separeting them, some blink arrow/decoy totem action and couple of portals made it an "easy" fight.
d:-D*
Are IIQ/IIR from map multiplicativ with IIQ/IIR from gear ?

GMP is... interesting on Hydra. But not even that hard. I found it to be easiest to stay close to her, just like with Izaro. Minotaur also doesn't do his burrow attack if you stay close. Phoenix is the only one where staying close to it is really the worst option (had to learn that the hard way).

And the last one didn't even give a refund.

Are you always corrupting high-tier maps?
