how to see what gear looks like on your character

i want to make my character look nice and have bought skin transfers.

i know how to buy a cheap useless item with the look i want so i can transfer that look to the gear i am using.

however, i do not know what every piece of gear looks like until i have bought it and equipped it.

is there any way i can see what different gear looks like on my character BEFORE i go and buy it ?

some games have a feature that lets you see what your character would look like with various items.

i would be most grateful to you if you can help me please.

while i thank you for trying to answer my question i need to point out the flaws in your advice:

i would need to know every single name of every single piece of armor and even then that would not help me as what the item looks like in the wiki is NOT what it looks like on your character, not even close.

the last piece of advice makes me wonder as you say i can simply put on it my character to see what it looks like BEFORE i buy the item, how is it that i do that ?

my gut suggest that you where trying to help and not simply trolling me so i thank you for your time.
