Shaper's orbs and their tiers
quick question, guys.
As we know on tiers 6 and higher on some maps we can get shaper's orbs (to shape maps five tiers lower). On map tier 6 we get shaper's orb tier 1 and so on. Why then I got shaper's orb (tier 9) on Poorjoy's Asylum map (also tier 9)? Because it was unique? Thanks. // I'm not complaining, just curiosity [Removed by Support] Last bumped on Sep 28, 2016, 1:15:54 PM

Because reasons is the only legit answer.
Mind you, deaths and taxes ignores this as well, since its T12 map. Oba's Trove as well since it's T11 and drops one of the three T8 orbs. Vinktar's square is T13 and drops T9 orb. So unique maps that drop orbs are quire consistent at being inconsistent actually. |

Basically it looks like unique maps that drop a Shaper's Orb are to allow multiple Shaper's orbs for certain tiers. You get one orb for Tier 1-7, then two orbs for tier 8, and three orbs each for tiers 9 and 10.
POE Wiki Article for Shaper's Orbs, including a chart showing where they drop U MAD?
