Using Battle Rouse

I've just started to use battle rouse passive (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Battle_Rouse). I also got Mind over Matter and pretty good dmg reduction (fortify+8 endu charge+armor). I'd like to now is this BR good for me in practice. I'm not sure if I see a difference. Anyone use this passive? Is it good in practice for gaining mana?

Your idea is great - to use MoM and get mana back too is a good combo. But unfortunately the passive is basically useless. 3% is nothing.

The best point I think is near MoM, but this jewel u suggest needs 5 x 10 int and I've got there just 4.

How does this BR work exactly? This 3% is from reduced dmg char will take or is it from not reduced dmg?

Just my two chaos, which may be somewhat off-topic.

You might want to consider a Berserker allocating MoM, and likely making use of the Vitality Void and Spirit Void notables in the Duelist area. The insane leech you'd get for life and mana, albeit with attacks, would be a great way to keep your life and mana topped off. Combine this with CWDT and enemies hurting you would cause you to leech back. It wouldn't be instant, like "damage gained as mana", but it can really stack against mobs.

It would be very nice but it's blade vortex char. I dont use attack but spell. Those passives aren't for that char ;/

The 1% could still be sufficient if you have high enough damage.

It's from the damage you end up taking. It includes the damage to life and mana though.

I though so. So if I would take 5000 dmg after reductions then it gives me 150 mana. It's really nothing.

1% would be sufficient but blade vortex can leech just by some items or life/mana leech gems.
