How Do I Get 90% Elemental Resistance for Raise The Bar Achievement?

Purity of whatever element at Level 20 will only give me +4% to max res. Element's flask will only give me another +6%. That will put me at 85%. Where am I supposed to get the other 5% from?

Hitting level 23 auras, aura effect, flask effect, the nodes and various unique items that increase your max resists. Rise of the Phoenix is probably the easiest way.
Have you done something awesome with Sire of Shards? PM me and tell me all about it!

Saffels' frame or kattenhalt also would work.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Easiest way is to find a resistance shrine. That alone gives +10% maximum resistances. While the shrine is in effect, hit a resistance flask for another 6% and you're done.

Some unique items give maximum resistance against one or more elements:

Aura effect passives can get you 1-2% extra maximum resistance from the aura. Flasks can get a mod for increased effect, IIRC a resistance flask can give 8% that way.
I totally didn't even think about uniques. Got it with the Painted Buckler. Thanks, exiles =)

A Pathfinder can easily get 50% increased flask effect, which yields 9% resistance from Ruby/Sapphire/Topaz flasks.

However, it's not worthwhile to get 25% increased effect / 33% reduced duration as a flask prefix; it yields only 1% more maximum resistance and you lose one third of your flask duration.
...nevermind...

That is why many people prefer it.
Happiness requires effort.
