The game uninstalled itself
So last night I played normally, downloaded the new patch and keep playing a bit, so today I clicked play and Steam asked to Install the game, I looked at PoE Steam Folder and it is just the game logs, what happened?

Happened to me like a week ago and I don't use steam. The only thing I could think might have caused it was while I was playing Windows 10 message popped up in front of my game (wtf why would they try to get me killed?) and to get rid of it I set the time for the update for overnight after I was done playing. The next day my game shortcut was gone and it wasn't in my start menu anymore. So I blame windows 10 but I still don¡t understand how or why that would happen.

Y'all should contact steam support about this. While GGG make the game, Steam / Valve are the folks who make the distribution platform that installs the content. (When, obviously, you use the steam app to install PoE, not the stand-alone version.)
GGG can help with in-game things, but "everything vanished" is a steam issue, so you gotta go to them about it. |

" I missed that. That is super-strange. I have nothing much to suggest, other than checking if your antivirus software moved everything to quarantine or something? Otherwise, I'd suggest hitting up GGG support via email. |
