Obscurantis damage seems wrong.
So, I recently bought an Obscurantis for my ST Juggernaut and it seems to me that the "+% increased projectile attack damage per 200 accuracy rating" mod doesn't work(or at least doesn't show up in the tooltip)?
I did some quick math and came up with roughly a 15-20% expected damage increase with my current passives. I do only see a 1-2% damage increase(I actually see difference in tooltip damage, though it shouldn't add any except from the unique mod). I looked at it both with ST and a White bow. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If it is working as intended, sorry to have bothered you. I've given estimates as to when a fix will be patched in and I've been burned for it in the past, so I really hate giving estimates. The issue is that if I give an estimate and it turns out that something happens that causes the fix to get delayed, people get really angry that the estimate was wrong. If we're silent about when fixes are coming, people constantly post asking for updates. It's a frustrating catch-22.
That said, last I checked, a fix for this will hopefully be in the next patch. |

I'm not trying to be a dick, I don't expect a definite timeline, and I understand that these things do take time. I know you guys have a priority list, and I know that code errors can take a totally variable amount of time to resolve. It is (or should be) an awe inspiring item. |

Thank you for looking into the item GGG. I hate to be overly critical, but an item when it released should work, especially when the item has such a central mod as "1% increased projectile attack damage per 200 accuracy".
I'm sure not very many people are building around the item but for the few of us who are (I made the character about a week ago, parked it at level 76 because I am relying on that item for 110% increased projectile damage and I have, by comparison, about 127% on my tree), it is the worst feeling to see an interesting item come out designed by you guys and not have it work. I made a new character to play in the meantime until Obscurantis is calculating properly, I hope everything works out smoothly. I understand programming can be very esoteric and difficult. |
