Massive lag on entering boss areas

On several maps since the boss area mechanic has become more widely applied, I experience lag when entering the boss area. This is especially pronounced on Phantasmagoria maps, but exists to some degree on most maps with separate boss areas.

This has resulted in deaths, as the game locks up for several seconds upon entering the room. Entering the room, immediately leaving it via clicking on the exit (which takes several seconds due to the lag), and then reentering, the lag does not re-appear.

System is a heavily overclocked 6/12 core/thread i7, medium-tier gfx, and raid 10 Samsung SSDs. I don't experience lag in any other cases, and level load times are typically 1-2 seconds. In Phantasmagoria at least, the boss room lag is longer than the load time for the entire map in the first place. I can actually see specific effects being loaded and popping in upon entering the boss room.

That being said, this patch has been a massive improvement in general (GG GGG), so I hope that this is a specific issue that can be addressed (hence posting in the bug forum).
