Which maps are you choosing to Shape?

I'm not a run-speed guy so I'm just choosing my favourite tilesets to add more of the ones I like (outdoors and sunny, or crypts, can't stand Bogs).

What are you Shaping? Is it for XP or farming cards or what?

I am planning on shaping the maps that drop the new basetypes to get some decent bases to craft
I'll definitely be shaping Atoll once I get my hands on a t8 shaper orb.

I loved old Mountain Ledge and now we can have it as a t13 map? That is awesome!

I shaped Strand and Reef. A T11 Strand and T14 Reef are rather nice.

I intend to shape Courtyard soon. Don't seem right for Courtyard to be a non-red.
Beach for daysssss.

I was almost surprised that GGG would lock the new bases behind certain maps, but then I remembered that this is GGG and that they can't handle introducing new content without gating it behind multiple layers of RNG.

I swear this entire game can be boiled down to a dice rolling app.

Is there a break down somewhere of what maps each new base can drop in?
I'm shaping outdoor maps that have an nice layout and easy boss for my build. Mesa for example.

I don't want to +5 a map if I have a hard time with it!

While this game is indeed heavily rng based having fixed drops in specific locations is the exact opposite of "adding more layers of rng"

You'd have a point if maps drops themselves weren't already random.
