Hardcore PVP deaths.

I had been pvping a little bit with my hardcore character and I was just wondering if there any penalties for dying? I know your character doesn't go to softcore but are there any other penalties such as item find penalties or the like? Seems strange to ask but I have played other games where the chance to find better items was increased the longer you had gone without dying and I just can't seem to find any information on the subject in regards to Path of Exile.

Only thing it changes is when you type /pvp it will show you win/losses/draws - that's it! Also, if you queue up for 1v1's you play people in both softcore and hardcore of said league.

Got it, Thanks. I was a bit worried because after dueling it seemed like the quality of items that were dropping was lower than before or at least there seemed to be a lot less currency items dropping.
