dropped my 2nd ever 6l chest with sockets full of skill gems etc. I mean, Ididn't dorp it as loot, I droppped it in the floor, which wrere atm lava I guess
I just need to hear that out loud bur ,that just means that I lost this chest and link and skill them foreever? I understand that , I just probably need to hear that out loud from someone. Just, to clarify, there was no younger newphiew, electirictu crush, no riots of hackers, me and everyone around is sober, i never did my password to starngers.. If you dropped it in a map there won't be a confirmation message it'll just plop on the ground. But you should be able to pick it up again, if you still have access to that instance since they stay open for 15mins give or take.

I dropped it at the square. For blink of eye I saw "There is no room for dopped items here, do you want to delete it?".
God bless that it was really bad 6L, and that setup (Split Arrow) wasn't my best, too. I wish we had some kind of limbo, where deleted items wouuld be waiting for their judgement. Burn all the orbs!

Destroying an item is far from the same thing as dropping it. Once an item is destroyed, its gone for good. Sorry but you're out of luck.

I really need some kind of Poe script/software with lines like "for 6th and last time, dude, you are about to wreck your only 6L with all gems, I WON'T let you do that, so stop trying".
Then again that would be too alike suying McDonalds for buring myself with coffe. Burn all the orbs!

The game won't let you delete an mtx, so if you put that on items you think you might accidentally delete, you won't be able to delete them or the characters that are holding them.

the game could easily be changed to force users to remove gems from items before they're able to destroy the items.
would make sense imho. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

"btw, what'll happen in such a case: -you have mtx on, let's say, armor -your armor gives you, let's say, 30 STR -(some) gem(s) in your armor can only be used when it is on (STR requirement too high) -you accidentally unequip that armor in town/HO while your inventory is full (all and any of them - stash tabs, master benches, whatever) What happens next? you can't drop it, you can't destroy it. You can't equip it again because obviously it is too hard to first check item stats then check gem reqs with that in mind, right GGG? The only(?) thing left is to log out but where will it be after login? And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

" Swap it with something of equal size in inventory, then click the vendor and select sell. If there is nothing of equal size, click on the stash and place it in there. If not close enough to the stash change your right click to move only so you can move without dropping/destroying it so you can get to the stash. If you log out with it on your cursor, it'll still be there when you log back in. There is always a way. :P Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

" i think that was one of the first suggestions from 3 years ago: "enable players to equip armor even if they don't fulfill the requirements". i even brought that suggestion up in a personal discussion, the answer was like "too dangerous, player might not notice that it's disabled". the obvious counter to that response: "if you unequip gear that invalidates other gear, it already works this way" was not responded to. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
