Can't get 'The Dweller of the Deep' and 'The Karui Way' quests on one character

I completed 'The Dweller of the Deep' quest on one character but can't seem to get it on another character from 'Tarkleigh' EVEN though I have completed 'Breaking Some Eggs', which is supposed to be the prerequisite. Any idea what I may be missing?
I also can't get the 'The Karui Way' quest from 'Elreon, Loremaster' on this char yet my other one does have it (I've completed the same prereq quests on both of them). " I'm not quite sure what you're referring to, as "The Karui Way" is not the name of any quest and Elreon doesn't grant any quests. Well, I did go and kill the Dweller anyway BUT when I go back to 'Tarkleigh' he doesn't give me a reward (and I don't see it in my completed list, like I do on my other char) so seems that I still need to get the quest somehow <shrug>.
As for 'The Karui Way', you're right, I don't see it from 'Elreon', it's 'Haku, the Amourmaster' that shows it in his list when I click on him (it may not be a quest as much as info he gives'). Oddly, on my other char 'Elreon' is in town and 'Haku' isn't so I imagine there's something I didn't complete successfully for Haku down below. I'll have to find him again and see. " Make sure the Dweller of the Deep quest isn't grayed out on the right side of the quests with the U button. If it isn't already finished then you are bugged somehow. Otherwise make sure there isn't a Dweller Reward option on Tarkleigh if you accidentally clicked through it. Secondly, yes Karui Way and Introduction are lore aspects not quests in the slightest. All quests you are given immediately just by talking to the quest giver when available. As for not having Haku and Elreon in town together, if you have a hideout and invited Elreon then he will no longer be present in towns. If you didn't then you either didn't finish Elreon's mission when you met him (I believe they only go to town on completion of your first mission fail or pass) or you made your characters in different leagues as each league has their own master progression. Typing /passives will show you if you already got the skillpoint reward from the dweller quest.

Hmm well I am playing two chars, but on different IDs (but they're both on the Texas (US) server). They are both on 'Standard League', 'Jehricho' is a lvl 18 Marauder on one ID and has Haku in town (Haku is only lvl 1 and doesn't offer any daily quests, does he have to be lvl 3?). I'm not sure where to find him in the wild on either char, what I found on the net seems to say he appears randomly so not sure where to start.
My other char is 'Palahnd', a lvl 18 Templar, and he has Elreon in town (lvl 2). Elreon also has no daily quests and I have no idea where to find him in the wild. Haku is not in town (don't know where to start to find him in the wild either, although I'm sure I met him at some point). As for Tarkleigh, he definitely has NO reward for Dweller (even though I killed it, without the quest up) and the quest does not appear grayed out on the right side of the quests with the U button (on 'Jehricho' it DOES). Bit confused at this point re: these two guys and how to proceed (may be bugged). |

" You can only get daily missions if they are in your hideout. By id do you mean you used 2 different accounts = 2 different emails? If so then those characters are completely disconnect. Their progresses cannot effect each other in the slightest. You find masters in the wild randomly, there is no set way to find them bar Zana the Master Cartographer will only appear in maps and as of 2.4 will always appear by the end of your first map. And just to clarify, did you kill the dweller on one character or both? Quest progress is not shared if the only one killed the dweller. It is very very unlikely you are bugged as I have never seen or heard of this bug ever but that just means something randomly tripped up only effecting you as far as we know. "It's all clearer now

Yes I have 2 different accounts i.e. 2 different emails and I killed the Dweller on both chars. Using /passives I saw that the Dweller quest had been handed in. Also, I just noticed theres a scroll bar at the bottom of the 'Completed' quests (I was clicking the side icons trying to scroll over, sigh). When I scrolled the bar to the right I now saw that the Dweller q was completed, so both chars have completed all the same ones. I'll get the hang of this yet! :-p
Ok so since one char has one master in town and the other has another master, I guess I'll putter around the Act 1 wilds to get the ones I'm missing. As for the 'hideout', after reading up on them it 1ooks as though I need to get the masters to lvl 3 before they offer one? I have Elreon at lvl 2 but he doesn't offer a hideout yet. |

Masters show up in town once you successfully complete a mission. They have to be level 2 to get invited into a hideout. They have to be level 3 to create a hideout. Elreon and Haku can show up in act 1. Tora and Catarina don't start showing up until act 2. Vagan and Vorici don't start showing up until act 3. After that they all can show up randomly.

Ok I was thinking that.. I was trying to get both Act 1 masters on both chars, but seems I'm having no luck no matter where I go in Act 1. I'll continue on with Act 2 and see who shows up. Thanks for all the help, you've clarified alot =)!
