Auto AFK message

It's bothering me that people are going AFK and are pretty much just AFK for a undefinable amount of time and the person messaging him or her does not know how long they are AFK for. So instead of the message "This player is AFK" would it be doable to put in the time that they are AFK? So something like "This player is AFK as of (insert here the time the AFK status is issued and time zone he or she is in)"

That would be so nice! I wonder how much programming time it would take. Hopefully not much.

It "shouldn't" be to hard I would guess because the game displays the time at the bottom left of the screen and all you need to do is to check the time difference and there you go, your time zone.

EDIT: Then again I'm not a full on programmer so I'm most likely wrong xp

In an earlier post someone suggested, that if a player is more than 30 min AFK, he will automatically disconnected (suggestion was because than he is not shown 'online' at poe.trade). GGG responded to this and they will think about it if they do this.

Ah ok, did not know about that, I guess this would be the second option to that If anything

I would much more prefer if it were possible to simply not show online when in afk mode. Even more preferred is mixed with this suggestion:

I personally go afk all the time just to say "be back soon/10min/whatever" It would be the best to be able to go afk, set a (soft) deadline of afk time and the message would auto fill "This player has been afk for 10 minutes and expects to be back in about 10 more minutes." For those that go afk out of necessity from real life events, the afk message could stay the same or add on "this player did not set an expected back time." Would make it clear that the buyer should not expect a response soon.

Secondly, the first message with a set deadline could change to the second message if they aren't back by the deadline or the message could read "player has not returned since set deadline."

I don't think players should be logged out. Summoner's would literally beat the shit out of us if they could if that becomes the afk standard. If they allow memory of summons then no big deal. Same as popping on auras.

A lot of people minimize POE and use POE Whisper Notifier so we can still trade while doing other things. I might have been AFK for two hours, but I'll still respond in ten seconds if you message me. As long as they take people like me into account with a command like "/tradeafk" or something, I'm okay with any improvements in this area.
