How to kill Malachai!?

Guys,

Yes, i am a noob! :)
I just tried POE this weekend and I got stuck in Malachai in normal difficulty.
Yes, I don't understand much about POE but nevertheless I played it after getting an idea on how to spend the point in the passive tree and selecting a few gems as skills. For sure, far far away from good choices but I am discovering the game.

As you read in the title, I tried to kill Malachai in normal and I get the guy to 50% health and after this it looks like nothing makes it loose more HP.
Yes, I die a lot of times there and to get there too - I lost count :)
My char is weak, I think.

So, if you could share your experience and do a checkup on my toon, it would be greatly appreciated.
Tactics like what skill is best, when to attack, is good. The mechanics on detecting Malachai's attacks, I will learn as I play, no worries.

I think I missed the third heart, according to Malachai's guide.
I did destroy 2 but I don't remember the third!... :)
