[BUG] Blasphemy and Commander of Darkness

'Commander of Darkness' bonuses apply 'per aura cast', and not 'aura that affects you'.

Blasphemy reads 'Curses are Cast as Auras'.

Curses cast via Blasphemy do not count towards 'Commander of Darkness'.

The description definitely doesn't say that; the word "per" is never used. Instead, it tells you the Damage/Speed modifiers are added onto Auras that you cast, becoming part of those Auras. You are not affected by your Blasphemy Curses, and thus do not gain any benefits (nor their massive penalties).

The Resistance bonus is a one-time deal. Either you/allies are affected or not.

It says 'Auras you cast grant' to be precise.

I'm aware how this works (after testing it).

I'm pointing out that the wording suggests a global effect granting bonuses per cast aura. Good analogy is Stone Golem 'Golems grant [...] Life Regenerated per second'.

It could be changed to 'Auras you cast grant [...] in addition to their effect', or even better
'Auras you cast that affect you or Allies grant [...] in addition to their effect.'

Generosity is a problem too.

No, it absolutely does not.
"Auras you Cast grant X" means that the Aura itself is applying said bonus, the Aura is granting a bonus, that is literally what the description states. If it was a separate bonus, it would read "For each Aura you Cast, you and nearby Allies gain [whatever]".

"Auras you Cast grant X"

you forgot to add 'to you and Allies'.

Mate, it means aura grants you the bonus, not that the aura gets the bonus, and it does not specify in which way.

'Golems grant [...] Life Regenerated per second' does not mean that the golem gets it.

I don't argue how it works, I argue the semantics.

Exactly. And you don't benefit from Blasphemy Auras, because they affect enemies, not you. What is even your point anymore.

"Auras [..] grant X".
The Aura, gives you, a bonus.
"Golems grant X".
The Golem, gives you, a bonus.
"
"Auras [..] grant X".
The Aura, gives you, a bonus.

This one applies a bonus to aura (increasing it's effect).

"
"Golems grant X".
The Golem, gives you, a bonus.

This one applies a bonus to you.

Inconsistency.

Having a golem grants you an effect.
Having an aura grants the effect to aura, and only then the aura applies it to you.

"Auras grant X" -> the Aura grants a Buff.
"Golems grant X" -> the Golem grants a Buff.

Go in game, create a Golem. Watch how you get a Buff on the status indicator; this is the Golem granting you a Buff; the Golem grants you this Buff due to the "Golems grant X" line. Cast a Blasphemy Arua. See how you don't get an icon; this is the Aura not granting you jack shit because it's a Curse.

Exactly. Now you are getting somewhere. Except:

"
'Curses are Cast as Auras'.

So it is an Aura, and does not give you the bonus. Despite exactly the same wording as in Golems, this time the bonus is applied to the skill, and not to you.

And now, may I ask you to stop trolling. I have told you already that I know how it works in game. Also in the post above you have changed your line of thought. Are you arguing just for the sake of it? Or was it an acknowledgement of the issue presented?

I'm pointing out problematic wording that is inconsistent between the skills.

I'll try to rephrase it:

1) 'Golems grant X' For the fact of having a golem, you get the bonus.

1) 'Auras [..] grant X' For the fact of having an aura, you get the bonus aura gets the bonus.

Same wording, different effect.

I think this would be a bit better:

"
Each Aura you Cast affecting you or Allies also grants 10% increased Damage.
Each Aura you Cast affecting you or Allies also grants 5% increased Attack and Cast Speed.
You and Allies affected by your Auras have +20% to all Elemental Resistances

Or this:

"
Each non-curse Aura you Cast also grants 10% increased Damage.
Each non-curse Aura you Cast also grants 5% increased Attack and Cast Speed.
You and Allies affected by your Auras have +20% to all Elemental Resistances

You perceive it to be inconsistent because you're wrong on how the Golem Buff works.
It's not the modifier "Golem grants X" itself that grants you Life Regeneration. The modifier "Golem grants X" allows the Golem to grant Buff, said Buff is applied to you, and it's the Buff that grants you Regeneration. Hence my "trolling you" about going in-game and looking at how shit actually works.

Blasphemy Curses do grant the Increased Damage/Speed bonus to affected allies. However, Blasphemy Curses don't apply to allies. As such, you cannot benefit from the Increased Damage/Speed it grants.

"1) 'Auras [..] grant X' For the fact of having an aura, you get the bonus aura gets the bonus."
For being affected by an Aura. Simply having it active is not the trigger. The Aura grants said bonus, but the Aura has to apply to you in order for you to benefit. The Golem grants a Buff that does apply to you, hence you can benefit from said modifier. It's not that hard.
