Call to the Brotherhood -- Elemental Weakness Vs Conductivity

I'm a full lightning damage 2x Double Arc Crit based Witch (legacy mjolner). I see massive damage increase when using Blasphemy + Conductivity.

But, using Blasphemy + Elemental Weakness instead is where I get confused at.

Since the ring converts 50% of lightning damage to cold.. if I use elemental weakness instead of conductivity, will that do more damage towards cursed mobs since I'm lowering their cold res and lightning res?

You're dealing both Lightning and Cold Damage, so lowering Resistances to both would be better than reducing only one Resistance. Pretty self-explanatory, really :)

Yeah, there is a reason I posted it here instead of the Reddit sub :) (prob get downvoted into oblivion) -- Thank you!

Edit: This ring is really op then and I assume if I find something that converts my lightning damage to fire as well, then, ele weakness curse would be even more powerful

Uh, no, then it'd be exactly as powerful as it is now.
Half your damage benefits from less cold resistance on the target, half the damage benefits from less lightning resistance on the target.
If you convert damage, your damage will benefit from both cold and lightning damage passives; but the opponent just gets cold and lightning damage, it isn't actually both at once.

Isn't a "no" better than an ignore?
I use call of the brotherhood on my lightning witch also. I use frostbite though. Frostbite increases my chance to freeze, which in turn, increases my chance to shock (frozen targets are shocked). I am not a crit build though; but I have a ~75% chance to freeze targets hit, which also causes them to be shocked.

I wouldn't even consider conductivity in the equation; it should be between frostbite and ele weakness. Weakness is more damage output, frostbite gives you better defenses, and better damage output than conductivity.
