Clarifying Barrage tooltip DPS and mechanics

Is Barrage tooltip dps per projectile? I have a 20k tooltip Barrage but it melts bosses, so I know the tooltip is not accurate. I'm wondering if it's like Tornado shot and the dps is per projectile?

Also I assume that Barrage projectiles can "shotgun" ? As in multiple projectiles from the same attack can damage a target multiple times?

Something like that, it shows dps for one arrow and you're firing four, so it's 80k assuming all four arrows hit.

Shotgunning doesn't exist in the game anymore, you can get multiple hits from overlapping secondary effects but no projectile can directly shotgun. And it's irrelevant anyway when Barrage is concerned, that's because Barrage can't fire more than one projectile at a time.

Barrage can hit a boss multiple times with one skill use. The hits don't technically 'shotgun' though since they happen one after the other.

If barrage does fire multiple projectiles at the same time, only one of those can hit the same enemy though.

does anyone know about its interactions with coc ?

if i had the target multiple times then can i cast the same spell multiple times

e.g. i use barrage linked with stormcall and all my arrows of barrage crit do they possible all apply a mark

i know a single piercing arrow can apply multiple marks (tested and seen but im not sure about barrage)

Sure, the skill can hit the same target multiple times and each hit has a chance to proc the spell. As long as more than 50ms passed since the spell was last cast it will be able to get cast again.

Barrage is very good for CoC, because it staggers the hits to bypass that 50ms cooldown. So even against a single target you get multiple chances to cast on crit per skill use.
