Comparing low life Kinetic blast VS hybrid Kinetic blast

Kinetic blast remains a powerful but insanely expensive option for end game aoe builds.
This thread seeks to explore both popular variants taken to high gear limits. This is not a build guide, but rather a comparison of 2 variations.

1) Dead-eye hybrid kinetic blast with 3 auras - T13 1:27 clear video



2) Assassin low life ES with - crown of eyes not used due to cost limitations





Summary:
Offensively, the 2 builds are basically identical in terms of final damage output with deadeye inching out a bit ahead due to having far shot and a 6th projectile but assassin has poison and bleed on hit. Past 150,000 GMP pierce dps it becomes really pointless to get more and just opens you up to reflect death.

Defensively, low life can reach insane EHP values, likely over 9000 energy shield with perfect gear while having its entire EHP pool leech-able. Hybrid can only leech life but has 400 life regen and better freeze resistance.

In terms of crit consistency, Assassin wins by a mile and hits crit cap without diamond flasks or the need to rely on curses. Hybrid reaches 88% effective crit with a diamond flask but loses out on a silver and jade flask.

Overall, the builds are comparable in power with the low life version having a higher EHP ceiling albeit at much higher cost. Both builds are still completely un-viable in a fresh league for 99.9% of players due to gear cost and this will never change.
