2.3 Immortal CoC Hybrid Discharge Juggernaut (WARNING: Expensive)
Hello and welcome. I wanted to post this build I recently specced into. It is far from optimized but already I can see the potential power.
Since the recent changes to Juggernaut class, it is now possible to maintin max endurance charges with 100% uptime. What this means is unlimited discharge and immortal call capability. The idea behind the build is to use Cast on Crit to cast discharge as well as immortal call. This alone would be strong defensively, but I wanted to take it a step further. I also use Kingsguard for the life gain properties. (Whenever an endurance charge is consumed, I gain 100 life) This equates to 600 life gain per discharge AS WELL AS 600 life per immortal call cast, for a total of 1200 life gain per CoC cast. This build is a hybrid life/energy shield build so while we are constantly gaining life, it is also designed to leech energy shield from our discharge damage. The permanent immortal call allows me to use bloodrage with no downside, and immune to bleed damage. So as you can see the benefits of this build are: -100% uptime Immortal call -1200 life gain per CoC cast -Energy shield leech from discharge damage -Do all of this while moving thanks to cyclone -Immune to bloodrage and bleed damage The cons to this build are: -Expensive -While the damage on this build is more than enough in most cases, it is possible to do more damage with CoC discharge using a less defensive build than this. So if you're still reading let's get into it. Gear:
Spoiler
Note: Headhunter is not important for the build at all, if you are short on resists any life/es/resist rare belt will do the trick. Headhunter will just add significant clear-speed when you are well geared in other slots. Also, The dagger is not mandatory either. Any half-ass crafted vagan dagger will work fine, the mirrored CoC daggers are just best in slot of course. When looking for a shield, I believe the ideal shield would be a high ES spirit shield with a good life roll, any spell damage or spell crit would be a bonus. I just had my shield with great resists lying around and it filled a gap I needed to fill. Tree: Right now I am running blasphemy assassin's mark and warlord's mark. I plan to get an enlighten to also run discipline aura. The curses allow you to leech ES while maintaining life gain, and enhance crit chance/multi for your triggering attack as well as your spell. Dual curse is essential so if you don't have +1 curse amulet, you either need it on a another piece of gear or get the +1 curse from passive tree. As I said this build is far from optimized, it is a roughly thrown together but already extremely effective in high maps. I will post updates as I delve further. Thanks for reading.
