[Solved] Failed to initialize on startup

Since downloading the new patch everytime I start the game I get the following error:
Failed to initialize.

Used to run through Steam, uninstalled and ran the normal client. Both giving the same error.
Tried the following things:
Restart computer
Run as administrator
with -swa/ --softwareaudio.
use ggpk_defragment

I am running on Windows 10 64 bit. If you want I can upload a DxDiag.

Anyone who has any other tips I could try?

Hi guys, I tried the solution show in https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1368348 still without solution I get the message "Failed to initialise" no matter what font i use. Please help.
