Unique Item Prophecies

I got the Storm on the Horizon Prophecy and have run through the Lower/Upper prison over a dozen times and have yet to encounter a rare Brittle Poacher. I'm sure that these prophecies are fine on cruel and merciless, when rare monsters spawn more frequently, but on normal perhaps a little help is needed. Running the same area over 5 times isn't fun, and 10 times is really frustrating. I can understand GGG wanting us to work for the unique, but this is tedious.

Am I just having bad luck or is anyone else having difficultly finding the rare monster in normal?

e: After another 10 runs, I gave up and sealed the prophecy. That was not a good experience.

Same thing happened to me. I ran lower/upper prison full clears about 5 times each. I wasn't sure if the prophecy would just "happen" or if it would appear on the quest tracker when the right 'brittle poacher' had spawned, so then I went about making 10 or so instances of lower prison and never saw it appear in the tracker.

Gave up on it after that. I ended up being 4 or 6 levels overleveled for the next zone, was not fun at all.

That confused me too. Apparently the unique item prophecies never appear on the tracker until it's complete. I initially thought that I just had to kill brittle poachers until one of them dropped it, then I thought maybe I would find some special unique prophecy monster like in certain other prophecies. After looking online, it's supposedly just the next rare monster of the specified type that you kill. It wasn't intuitive to me at all.

Having the same luck with this one. Bummer.

Exactly the same issue here: I was farming Chatters for a while - since he's the only reliable way to get Brittle Poachers, however they are never rare. I then started full clears/run throughs - no dice. Just no rare Poachers - in fact, a white poacher was super rare (outside of Chatters).

I also spammed new instances, too, to check that method. Nothing again.

Good post OP, I think these rare kills need to be gates to the higher difficulties where rares are more likely to spawn.

i done this prophecy after like 40 runs and dropped Storm Cloud, so it don't worth it

I've done a handful of Prison runs and don't believe that I have encountered a single Brittle Poacher - rare or not. Not sure how intended this is, but I found this thread and am adding my feedback to it.

Edit: looks like a few do spawn with Chatters, but besides those few, I haven't seen any.

Edit2: just ended up in a Lower Prison instance that actually has them spawning. It was all Brittle Thieves all day before this.

I had the same with Oaks Devoted, due to them not even necessarily being native enemies and just spawn in small invasion packs (2-3 packs mostly) it is not easy to complete. It would be cool if those prophecies would be carried over to higher difficulties.

Anyone find one? If so where? Upper or Lower Prinson?
