Necessity of Unwavering Stance in a Max Block Build

Hello Exiles,
How important do you think "Unwavering Stance" becomes if you do a max. block build?
How fast will you recover without?
How many nodes would you need without?
Im working on a Shield Block Gladiator and would appreciate some opinions!

If you block, you will only get stunned if the hit that you blocked would have stunned you if you did not blocked it. So block recovery is only useful for a small amount of hits.

From personnal experience, among the few max block characters that I played (long time ago), I never took Unwavering Stance and never had trouble with block reconvery.

I think Unwavering Stance is overrated and that you should value more your evasion.

Any hit that would have dealt 10% (12% with warrior's blood) of your max hp has a 20% chance to stun, increasing to 100% chance to stun at 50% (60% with W'sB) of your max hp. Blocking a big hit from a boss is likely to stun you.

Question is what kind of equipment are you intending to run. If you're going the BoR route, take IR and US, you're not going to be getting enough evasion for it to be worth relying on.

Tetsudo circle give 120% block recovery, so your stun duration from block is reduced to .16 seconds compared to .35 seconds.

Personal opinion is to just take unwavering stance if you're running a melee non-evade build. I hear stories about people getting stunned while flame bearers explode around them.
the only serious build Ive played and rated in the last 2 years that used unwavering stance is a ci aegis block build. I have a life based aegis block gladiator atm, didnt take unwavering, dont feel like I need it tbh even though I have iron reflexes. Maybe if it was 1 or 2 point investment I might get it specifically on an aegis high block iron reflex life build.

Not being stunned is really nice, not having evasion isnt a problem if youve got high block, but unless you are a ci block tank I dont feel like you need it.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
Iron Reflexes or Unwavering Stance are both really great ways of making sure you don't evade very often, so your on-block effects proc more often.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
