Custom Hideout music

I don't know if it was suggested before or not, but I'm too lazy to look. :)

So basically this would be a cool way to push away the tediousness of hearing the same soundtrack over and over whenever you stay at your hideout for a considerable amount of time.

It could be a loop of tracks or just one that you really like.

You could change it in the preferences if you want others to hear it when they're at your hideout or not.

It would work as follows:

1) It would create a folder wherever you have installed PoE in your computer, then you can just drag and drop whatever music you want in it in either an mp3 or ogg. format or whatever format GGG want to support.
2) Then when you're in the game you can just choose how would you like to arrange your playlist in the options menu.

There also could be some GGG artist made tracks that you can purchase for points.

What do you think?

I was thinking about it too. That's a good idea but technically i don't think it would be really viable for GGG to allow everyone to put its custom music. Something interesting would be to have the choice between some predefined musics already in the game.

That could work also.

Months ago they showed us the artist who created the music for PoE. Well, most of it anyway.
He is a polish dude and recently moved to New Zealand to be a permanent part of the team there.
I think if there would be a real need for it he could design some variety tunes for hideouts.
Some tunes you could access for favor points like other hideout decorations and others for points.
I also think that maps should have their own theme music too not just the same music dictated by the tileset. We also need some map boss fight music too.

Also this might have been asked before and not a remotely recent thing, but whatever happened to the end game music? You know the one that plays whenever you complete all acts in either difficulty.
Just saying. PoE should invest in music also. Even more so that they upgraded the sounds for 2.3.0.
I 1000% support this idea, as I too have constantly thought about this when going to my hideout.

Let us select which music, if any, plays in our hideout. Please.
I just thought of some possibilities for different hideouts:

It would be a good thing to be able to mix tilesets too: For example if you have multiple masters (and who hasn't got at least two) you could create a mix of those tileset as a base to build on.

As for music: Imagine Enya songs playing in a garden tileset with statues and lots of flower bed, some god rays shining trough the branches of old oak trees...

Nightwish("old" Tarja Turunen songs) and Evanescence playing in a graveyard tileset or a white marble Dracula's Castle tileset with lots of graveyard statues that emphasize the difference between a fleeting mortal life and living forever like vampires or angels...

A jungle tileset intersected with a midnight strand, lots of fireplaces, torches,Karui totems, drums and tribal relics and music and smoke&mirror...

A daylight castle tileset with trebuchets, catapults(onager), battering rams, ballistas(scorpion) and tents and "shit" accompanied with warsongs and anthems and epic ballads about heroism and stuff...

A mage hideout intersected with a fairy garden and a lookout to white mountains. Something akin to Hogwarts or Rivendell or the two mixed together with magic. Could be either night or daylight tileset. Whichever suits the player. The music would be all elvsish themed songs from LOTR. This hideout would be also good for rangers as the elves practice both magic and archery very efficiently...

A rogue camp for the shadow and an optional for the ranger. Imagine a nearby pub as the wretched hive of scum and villainy. Exercise caution my young padawan.
Tileset of a village night intersect with forest camp.
Music would be campfire songs and ballads of villainy etc.

A dock tileset with piracy and sea shanty inersect with a busy city street and courtyard for the duelist and scion. Knocked over chests of gold and riches is a must.

Witch Lair complete with cauldron and some "troubled mushrooms" :) Giant mushrooms you mind.
Some spectres hovering over ancient ruins. Imagine there Gollum gazing into the pond going full schizophrenic (just kidding) As for music: Some pagan/folk/witch song collection...

Finally a beautiful temple complete with ornated pillars, red carpet and altar, candles and icons for the templar. Gregorian music...

What do you think?
