Pathfinder and Umbilicus Immortalis?

Would the mechanics behind the Pathfinder's flask nodes apply to the zombies and specters or the char herself? I understand the mechanics of the belt, would just like a bit of clarification before I put my build to the test.

The Pathfinder nodes are a bit ambiguously worded. They say "when using a flask". But really what they mean is "while under the effects of a flask you used". So they benefit nobody if you have Umbilicus. The Zombies don't have the pathfinder nodes, so they get no bonus, and you never get any flask effects, so you get no bonuses either.
