rebuy ...

Of course there has to be a rebuy function for accidently sold items. The question is not, if someone has to be careful when selling stuff, but how long it will take every single one to sell something accidently. A month? A year? 10?

never sold anything accidentally, did however delete a character accidentally...either way it's my fault for not paying attention.

If you don't want to sell specific items you might want to look into cheep MTX's(skin transfers?) which means it can't be deleted, traded or destroyed...not can the character it's equipped on be deleted.

Also when it comes to refunding an item how long do you expect to have it stored, most game i remember as having a per log in memory, then you need to take into account that the player may not even have the right currency to buy back because of shards

I haven't sold anything accidentally either. But I have accidentally turned a shipyard map (before they had tiers so it was 1 under top level) into a chisel. a rebuy wouldn't undo that mistake.

No way you can sell anything "by accident", there is "accept trade" button for a reason. Just blame yrself if you are that bad to put an item and accepting the trade after checking out what you actually selling.

I did it once, it sucks, but after those 10 minutes of psycho it's just business as usual.

I've sold something accidentally but it's only been once and early on in playing this game. It was a pair of gloves that I bought for 1 ex (all I had at the time) off Poe.xyz but didn't have the stats to wear them yet so I left them in my inventory for the next level or so. You coulda guessed I accidentally sold them after doing some maps and of course was so mad there wasn't a rebuy function. However I learned my lesson that day and never really wanted/needed since.
