How stuns work on bosses?

The usual way, their high life pools are defense enough against anything that isn't a strong permastunner.

Some bosses are stun immune, though, Atziri and I think Malachai is too, Piety during the laser phase, possibly some others I can't remember right now.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I use warlord's mark to permastun everything. I can permastun monster with lower dmg/hp ratio like perandus uniques but cant stun bosses.

So if stun work the same way on bosses and other unique monsters then I assume curse effectiveness on bosses make it hard to stun them for me.

yes. minimum chance to stun is 20%. anything bellow that cant result in stun. I guess you use Worthy foe with warlords mark (and some curse effectiveness) to reach that 20% and stun with any damage.. I dont think there is a way how to do it on bosses

It is very easy to stun bosses (once) using the Slayer passive which stuns enemies on full life.
Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:

Why would he need worthy foe and warlords? Worthy foe alone is 20%, just as the minimum requirement. So you should be able to stun everything, that isnt stun immune, with only worthy foe, even regardless of your dmg. If I am not missing anything this should also work on any not stun immune bosses.

20% increased chance to stun means get your chance to stun, and increase it by 20% of what it was. If it was 10%, it will go to 12%.

I am confused. Where can the additional "chance to stun" be acquired? To my knowledge there is no gems nor passives that would give "chance to stun".

I know what are the stun threshold and stun duration, but I do not know what is the "chance to stun".

Edited: I got the formula: stun_chance [%] = 200 * damage / defender_effective_max_life

I did not know it was a chance based triggering.

Warlord's Mark gives you 15% base chance to stun at max lvl, so you need to do just 3% of you enemy max hp per hit to have a real chance to stun (not counting curse effectiveness and reduced stun threshold)

I use warlord's mark and Ball lightning to stun mobs. 30% from tree and 10% from blasphemy (20% from helmet is not needded, I have bought it to check if it will allow me to stun bosses but it does not) is enough to stunlock any exiles in t11 maps and every perandus unique (that can have higher life than map boss if im not wrong). I can't stun bosses even If i'm using stun gem. I don't have any stun passives in my tree.
