Righteous Fire + Elemental Focus

Is there any interactions between Righteous Fire skill and Elemental Focus support, does Righteous Fire get more burning damage from Elemental Focus support gem? Because Righteous Fire is burning degeneration, Righteous Fire cannot ignite (cannot inflict elemental status ailments), so i doubt it if there is some restrictions. For example Righteous Fire cannot be supported with Rapid Decay, because Righteous Fire has no duration.
