If I crit with caustic arrow does the damage over time get the damage amplification as well? Multiplied by the chaos damage factor 30-49%?

No, Critical Strike is a property of Hits obly, Damage over Time by itself cannot crit

How about increased projectile damage, it increases the physical damage of the skill, does that increase the damage over time?

The main arrow is a bow attack, and so will be increased by projectile damage nodes, and also bow nodes.
The cloud is not an attack (it doesn't use your weapon's stats), so it doesn't count as 'bow' damage. But it does count as 'projectile' damage for some reason. It will also be affected by 'AoE' and 'Chaos' damage modifiers. " Using concentrated effect does not change the damage in the tool tip. But it does say 25% less area of effect. Is that a bug? |

Concentrated effect should increase the damage per second of the cloud. If it's not showing the the tooltip, then the tooltip is bugged yeah. Most tooltips are not that reliable though anyway.

" Is there chance that the damage is also no going to be amplified because of a bug? Because to me fixing the tooltip should be easier than fixing the actual damage. Shouldn't the raw damage calculated come from the same source of the damage showing in the tool tip? This way if the damage is wrong then it would be easy to see. Having the actual raw damage and the tool tip damage be calculated separately just causes confusion. |

The damage is fine. I have tested it before; it's easy to test yourself as well. Just try it with and without conc effect and you will notice the difference.
The actual damage is calculated as you play, and it depends on what monster you are damaging, and a number of other factors as well. Getting the tooltip info correct for every situation and every skill is impossible. Face it, all of your suggestions are worse than this idea:
