Mercy Mission quest

So I joined not 20 minutes ago and I broke the game apparently. I went to Tidal Island where the quest told me to go and I beat all the mobs and stuff, but I get no Medicine Chest. I didn't encounter the boss named "Hailrake" either and wiki says he drops it so...yea. I broke the game and idk how to fix it. I did join a party before doing it which probably messed up the quest so yea. Anyone know how I can get the chest??? :(

Did you join a party that had already done the quest, and were you still in the party when you went to Tidal Island? If so, you probably joined their instance where Hailrake was already dead, and didn't get the Medicine Chest because you weren't in the instance when he died. All you have to do is go back to Tidal Island and he'll be there.

As a side note, this isn't really a bug or anything. It's just a thing that can happen if you're partying and aren't careful. For future reference, if you control-click on the entrance to a zone (or waypoint on the fast travel screen), you bring up the instance manager, which lets you spawn new instances of zones to get around this sort of thing. Instances also reset after a few minutes with no one in them (8, 15 or 30 depending on the zone).
