How to make Orb of Storm good?

How to make it do good damge?
I have tried to use lvl 19 with controlled destruction, lightning pen and increased aoe. I play with lightning ball as main skill. In lab (zone lvl 68) it cant kill mobs fast enough. I feel like Vaal Storm Call is much better at this point for me. "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy? There is no such thing, and never has been. Orb of storms is a support skill, it is way more useful for curse on hit.
Also, if you want it to do relevant amounts of damage you need a faster casting spell like spark, increased aoe is irrelevant since the bolts that appear when you cast a lightning spell inside can hit the entire screen and this ones are the main source of damage from the skill. |

Or Curse on hit Or both if you're running a single curse. Doesn't really make it do good dmg but it makes it useful. Blind? Where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.

But you don't use curse on hit on your main dps skill. Orb of storms is good enough to curse mobs.

To apply EE together with other things, mentioned above, is also good.
I would also join the others and say, it is not for dmg but for utility. If u want 2nd support dmg skills, than u r way better off running a spell totem supported skill or other totem. Or use vaal skill, what u already do. Also kamil is right, only for curse on hit, the orb is bad, u r better off to cast it urself or use ball lighting. To stay on topic, it's probably just preference on how you want to apply curses. I'd rather OoS for that as you don't have to aim and can spam other skills. Just a lowly standard player. May RNGesus be with you.

" I'm not sure if Witch with is something you should hope for. xD " I like BL becasue I also don't have to aim and it can curse mobs far away from you, OoS only work near place of cast and you need good RNG for OoS to curse all mobs. I got aoe from tree and curse area of BL is very big. And unless it is boss I kill monsters before curses disappear. "Is there such a thing as an absolute, timeless enemy?
