Dreadarc and curse priorities

Question regarding dread arc - axe that gives flammability curse on hit.

I wanted to use this axe, however my build I currently run a Herald of ice+curse on hit + assassin's mark in order to get power charges on kills.
How does the flammability curse on hit from the weapon interact with curse on hit skill gems? Which one will take priority? Is there a way to generate charges from curses (warlords, assassins, or even poachers) while using this weapon, or will flammability on hit just Override? And if so how? CWDT setup?

If you don't have 2(or more)-curse setup, it will override :(
offtop: Used Asenath gloves with triple blasphemy on 4-curse char. Flame totem overwrote ALL THREE blasphemied curses with temp.chains from the gloves. Still mad about this...
And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.
Ok, I found it while leveling my duelist, weapon was a clear upgrade for offhand, but I'm going to have to adjust my skill gems a bit.

I'll do Herald of ash instead, drop the curse on hit and assassins. Maybe use power charge on Crit instead to get those charges. And just swap back to the curse on hit setup when I replace the dreadarc
