Option for disabling Auras received by party members

I think this may only affect people using Elemental Equilibrium or having exactly enough mana regen to sustain their active skill but maybe there are other cases, too.
Let's take someone using Elemental Equilibrium for an example. Having stuff like Wrath or Anger gives 50% LESS damage on a mob having 50% Res.

Should Auras be optional?
There could be a small checkbox in the corner of the buffs, or something like that, where you can disable them.

nice troll post
As a MF culler I would love this. Whenever I'm in a party to cull at least one of the members runs clarity, which makes keeping Divination Distillate up a nightmare.
You could ask them to turn off the aura. It's hurting them too if you raise the monster resist on that element.

EE is just not a party friendly skill.

Whenever I've done boss farming with a magic finder using Distillate, he's asked that nobody run Clarity near him and it hasn't been a problem.

As a discharger who uses EE,I totally agree with you.
Disabling auras you don't want in your party would be a great option to have.
I actually disagree with this idea as it sets a bad precedence. If one group of people is allowed to disable auras because they don't want them, then anyone should be allowed to disable whatever game feature they don't want if they feel it interferes with their own build.

Just talk to the person who is affecting you. If you can't work something out, then either one or both of you probably shouldn't be playing with other people.

Sorry but this is completely aberrant. Party members' buffs are not a permanently existing game feature, you can't compare these two.
Part of this game is balancing pros and cons of EVERYTHING. Yes, the auras you run may help you, but not so much others. Do you still run the aura? This isnt Diablo 3 man.

It is a slippery slope falacy, but he has a point, if you party up you need to take the social aspect in mind, and you should try talking to people.

Several cases i was involved this league. From partying with a discharger who used minmaxed gear and was for the longest time wondering why we did such meh dmg till i asked him if i should turn off my anger which he did not notice, so i did it and just used grace instead.

To kicking(or rather them leaving) people from the party for using belly of the beast on LA (goddamn extra gore lagging everyone). You can talk most of these things trough. Especially if you want to build a long term friends list to party with people more often.
